The Invisible Teardrops hail from Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and play a dark, Farfisa driven form of garage/punk, influenced not so much by the Yardbirds or Rolling Stones, but more so by doo-wop, Cajun swamp pop, the Sir Douglas Quintet, Richie Valens, and the Modern Lovers. The band has toured the USA and Japan, where they have released three separate eps. Songs about skateboarding, waffles, girls with haunted eyes, surfing, and depression, all carry this six piece outfit into a magik world of likeminded outsider kids. Their last album, was self released and then re-released by Burger, which led to the band playing the Burger Boogaloo along with the Damned and the Mummies. This release was recorded lo-fi and honest.
