Each lovely and accomplished musician sings and plays a variety of instruments including violin, tuba, mandolin, tin whistle, guitar, keyboard, harmonica, drums, bodhran, spoons, bass and more. Based out of Las Vegas since September 2001, the band has recorded two CD's and recently won National Radio Honors with King World and Oink Inc. for their original version of the Jeopardy theme song. Their warm, unpredictable and energetic shows continue to entertain audiences from all walks of life. Killian's Angels is: Beth Mullaney,Dolly Coulter, Ginger Bruner,Lisa Viscuglia, Nan Fortier and Satomi Hofmann Killian's Angels personal bios: Beth Mullaney: BS in Psychology, University of Nebraska (UNL) Beth Mullaney; singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, has been a featured performer in Las Vegas since 1994. Though her major musical focus is Celtic, her songs include an eclectic blend of styles, past and present. Recently, she completed 'Home', a solo Christmas CD with three new original songs. Beth is the founding member of Killian's Angels, where she adds her vocals, mandolin, guitar, harmonica, spoons, drums and bodhran (Irish frame drum) and original songs and arrangements. Originally from Lincoln Nebraska, Beth performed with the popular duo, MulliVan's Edge at the Excalibur from 1994 to 2001, and as a soloist from 2001-2005. Recently she debuted her new show, 'Rhythm and Muse', adding washboard, Tupperware, a sink, and pots and pans to her act. Beth's first solo album, 'Simon Says' achieved Billboard honors for 'Can I Hold You' and 'Playin the Part'. Her music is as vast and honest as her many life experiences, infusing a Midwest upbringing with an independent nature that easily speaks to any listener. Dolly Coulter: BA in Theater, UNLV Dolly Coulter, a Las Vegas native, has been performing on and off stage since she was a child. Never one to be satisfied with doing just one thing in life, she not only sings, plays guitar, piano and melodica, but has also written, choreographed and directed an original two act musical with co-writer Bert Anderson. She also has created a multi-media children's production, complete with original music, lyrics and picture book. Currently, Dolly is learning accordian and dobro, working on a CD of her original songs in her home studio; 'Doll House', is co-writing a second musical, and singing weekly at the Guardian Angel Cathedral, home of the Las Vegas Bishop. Dolly has a style all her own, as well as a fiery rock and roll sound and energetic sense of humor. To Dolly, being onstage is like being at home... only thing missing would be her two chow dogs, Sophia and Ruby. Ginger Bruner: BA in Tuba performance at UNLV Ginger Bruner, also a Las Vegas native, credits her BA in Tuba performance as the reason for her many varied careers. Professionally, Ginger is a talented photographer in fine art, commercial art and graphics. While studying music education, she took a small 'vacation' to study art and is just a few credits shy of an art degree. She is also a writer, radio and music producer and engineer, and a musician with several popular bands, most notably, Killian's Angels and the Meshuginah Klezmorim. As an artist in residence with the Capital City Arts Initiative, Ginger spends a significant amount on time in Northern Nevada teaching children everything from clowning to portraiture. In addition, you can listen to her on KUNV, 91.5 FM. After 19 years in public radio, many recognize her voice as the 'Voice of Public Radio'. Ginger's hobbies include reading, golf, tennis and sleep (attributed to all those years on public radio...) She is also known to juggle and clown if the conditions are right and is the only member of Killian's Angels who can juggle fruit and make balloon figures. Lisa Viscuglia: Harvard University A classically trained violinist, Lisa Viscuglia attended Harvard University and Studied with Fredy Ostrovsky of the Boston Symphony before moving to Las Vegas in 1979. Over the years she has played with virtually every major performer that has appeared on the Las Vegas strip from Pavorotti to Plant and Page, Elton John to Sinatra. In addition to her work in the Las Vegas showrooms, Lisa has also been an integral member of several popular Las Vegas Bands and shows including the Country Fever Show, The Naked Martinis, Country Knights and currently, Killian's Angels. Her television credits include the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and the 1998 and 2002 Billboard Music Awards. Lisa owns and operates Raging Princess Productions, a musical production company. As agent, manager, and musician, she coordinates and performs in orchestras, string ensembles and violin quartets for some of the cities most prestigious musical productions, including Andre Agassi's yearly fund raising event. Nan Fortier: BA in Music, San Diego State University Nan Fortier, a Las Vegas native, realized her love for music performance at an early age. Although piano was her first instrument, a passion for drumming quickly surfaced in high school and has dominated her musical interest ever since. Although drums have been Nan's forte, her versatility stems from a love of various styles of ethnic music, leading to Afro-Cuban and Afro-Brazilian percussion, West African djembe and dundun, Japanese Taiko, Scottish snare drum, Irish bodhran, tin whistle and electric guitar. Nan graduated magna cum laude with honors with a B.A. in Music at San Diego State University. She also attended the Percussion Institute of Technology and has been an educator in California, Las Vegas, New Zealand and Berlin, Germany. Among her extensive credits, Nan has performed with Blue Man Group in Las Vegas and Berlin since 2004, as well as live tours throughout Europe, New Zealand, Japan and America. Her credits include live performances with James Intveld (New Zealand), Mustafa Sandal (Europe), Chubby Checker, Jason Everly, Bob Berryhill of the Surfaris, Barry White Tribute Show, Las Vegas Desert Sky Pipes and Drums and appearances on Xena Warrior Princess, Beverly Hills 90210 and Super Bowl XXII. Satomi Hofmann: BA in Musical Theater, UCLA Satomi Hofmann's professional background is as diverse as the instruments she plays. She is one of the Music Director's of the opera program at the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino and frequently music and vocal directs various local productions. Satomi grew up playing classical piano and won several awards and competitions for her playing, including the prestigious Pepsi Cola Young Musician's Award. After discovering her deep love of theater, Satomi began performing as an actress and singer as well. She appeared opposite Michael Crawford and David Cassidy in EFX at the MGM Grand, has been a performer for companies such as Disney, JVC, and Redken, has been in several commercials, and continues to perform in theater productions whenever her schedule allows. Other stage credits include: Aldonza in Man of La Mancha (PSFX productions), Smokey Joe's Cafe (PSFX), Eve/Mamma Noah in Children of Eden (Signature Productions), The Narrator in Joseph... Dreamcoat (PSFX), Trina-Falsettos (The Forge Theater) and Mrs. Walker - Tommy (PSFX).
