Kiss: Alive: German Version

Kiss: Alive: German Version
Title: Alive: German Version
Label: Mercury Import
Product Type: COMPACT DISCS

German-only pressing of this classic 1975 live album from the Rock quartet featuring a re-designed version of the band's logo on the album cover. The problem in Germany with the band's original logo stemmed from the fact that Nazi Germany's Schutzstaffel otherwise known as the SS used a similar lightning bolt logo stylized with the Armanen Sig runes. ALIVE was the first live album, and fourth overall, by Kiss. It was considered to be their breakthrough and a landmark for live albums. Released on September 10, 1975, the double-disc set contained live versions of selected tracks from their first three studio albums. It was recorded at concerts in Detroit, Michigan; Cleveland, Ohio; Wildwood, New Jersey; and Davenport, Iowa.
