Description

Title: Primitive Tales
Label: Dirty Water
Product Type: VINYL LP

Harking back to the days when Rock 'N' Roll was still considered a threat to the world's youth, the Kits are set to conquer the world with the release of their 2008 debut album. A Garage Rock 'N' Roll band at heart, they've taken the stomp and grit of the '50s and '60s and given it the injection of eternal youth through relentless guitar hooks and snarling vocals. The album was recorded over various sessions at Gizzard and Toe Rag Studios. After starting out in the city of Melbourne, Australia, the Kits relocated to London where their sound has come into it's own. Drawing comparisons with the Saints, Gang of Four and the Sonics, the Kits' tales of crime, addiction and short-lived romances have resulted in a rapturous following and earned them recent supports with the Dirtbombs, Wolfmother, the Saints and the Nightmarchers, as well as rave reviews in magazines like Kerrang and Artrocker. Dirty Water.
