Digitally re-mastered edition of this 1960 cast recording. Written by Julian Slade and Dorothy Reynolds and the follow-up to their own hit Salad Days, Follow That Girl was originally set in Bristol where the play was staged at the Bristol Old Vic. It's success locally soon prompted plans to being the show to the West End and it duly opened on 17th March 1960 at the Vaudeville Theatre, going on to run for 211 performances. With Susan Hampshire in the lead role of Victoria and Peter Gilmore as Tom, Follow That Girl proved a Top 5 album success. Pickwick.
