London renew and update their classic 1977 punk rock sound with a 12" vinyl release to coincide with the 40th anniversary of their February 1978 debut LP Animal Games. Formed in the first wave of punk, managed by the legendary Simon Napier-Bell, signed to MCA, London released three 7" singles a 12" EP and an album, all now considered collectors' items. They toured the UK in 1977, opening for the Stranglers (the Rattus Norvegicus tour) and followed up with their own headlining tour. Their final performance was at the Marquee in December of that year. The band members went on to other musical projects, Lead singer Riff Regan released several singles for MCA and Epic before pursuing a career in script-writing for Frankie Howerd, Birds of a Feather and the theatre, and drummer Jon Moss found worldwide fame as a member of Culture Club.
