Sam Jayne (Lync, Beck) and his Love as Laughter have been around since '94 - during which time, he and James Bertram (Red Stars Theory, Lync) made One Foot In The Grave with Beck, eventually landing on Sub Pop, touring with the likes of Modest Mouse, Dinosaur Jr, The Shins, Built To Spill, Les Savy Fav and others. This release sounds like the first time you smoked pot and listened to Neil Young and Black Flag simultaneously and it made sense.
