Paul Andrew is a Hoboken/NYC based singer-songwriter who plays piano/Rhodes/organ and sings with his band The Liquor Talking. Their self-titled first album features songs derived from a lifetime of experiences (some sweet; some bitter; many bittersweet). Paul Andrew has turned this experience into biting independent rock songs ("beautiful maladies" if you will) accompanied by the jazz-influenced alto sax of Jeffrey Wayne Hughes, the electric guitar of Ed Orgera and the backing vocals of Fiona O'Donnel. Irish street poet John Fallon also contributes lyrics to one song on the CD. Their first album gives The Liquor Talking fans a record of the exciting, "rollicking" rock and roll experience crowds in the New York City area (where the band regularly performs) have been experiencing live over the last year (since the band's formation in summer 2007).
