One of the main bands that helped define the garage rock sound that emanated from Texas in the mid-1960s, Kenny & The Kasuals gained national notoriety for their 1966 hit "Journey To Tyme." Emerging from the ashes of this gritty outfit, Rollie Anderson and Ted Brumm eventually joined forces with bassist and songwriter John Davis to form the short-lived Southern/AOR rock band Starr Forse. In 1977, the band left Dallas and settled in Los Angeles where they recorded a couple of albums that have become some of the most wanted vinyl obscurities out there, fetching top dollar on collectors' sites worldwide. Featured here is their classic debut "Losing Control," originally released in 1979 by the Nashville-based Koala Records label, newly remastered. .
