Originally released on Trapez as the A-side of the Gecko EP by Oliver Henares from Barcelona, "Escoria" was one of the big time favorites of Dominik Eulberg's DJ set. Trapez asked Audio Werner, Ryan Crosson and Franklin de Costa to remix the original. The results are 3 knob-twisted, twigling minimal groovers that rely very much on complex beat structure. Audio Werner has written a unique remix which is based on soft and deep basslines, whereas Ryan Crosson jacks up the theme with his nervous energy, and Franklin de Costa added a lot of intricate programming. This is the first record presenting the new Trapez ltd cover design. Composed out of a fresh label layout and a standard printed, black & white disco sleeve. 2006.
