Wired World of Sports was the first full length album, released directly after it's chart topping debut single It's Just Not Cricket. Released in 1987, the album shot up to the Number One position in the album charts and has sold more than a quarter-of-a-million copies. Wide World of Sports 2 did even better than that. Within the first three weeks of it's release, the album went triple platinum and has since surpassed quadruple platinum sales.
