"Soul Desirables" is not a typical soul compilation. This unique collection is, instead, the fruits of three years hard work to ensure an awesome combination of soul songs, mixes, remixes and productions not easily found elsewhere, if at all. Most of the music here has not been commercially before, it's either been restricted to bonus mixes on promotional CDs or 12"s, unreleased albums, internet sound files or rare foreign issues. Still, the main emphasis here is the sheer quality of the music, the production and the artists who have created these recordings for major labels such as Motown, MoJazz, Arista, Columbia, Virgin, Island, Talkin' Loud and Universal. The expense lavished on these recordings is what independent soul artists can only dream of, and thus too good not to be showcased on a CD such as this.
