The expertise of Jimmy Destri (Blondie) shines on keyboards for re-workings of 'runaway' & 'great balls of fire'. Longtime misfits & Ramones collaborator John Cafiero (Osaka popstar) contributes melodic punk-pop backing vocals to 'dream lover', 'monster mash' and 'runaway', plus Ed Manion (50's icon Dion, Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band & more), appears on sax for select tracks. The gamut of 50's era music has been reinterpreted along with a couple of 60's era hits that were must haves for this theme driven collection. Notably the highest charting release in the band s entire 37 year-long legacy, misfits project 1950 debuted on billboard's heat seekers chart at #2, and billboard's top independent album chart at #5 in it's initial release over a decade ago. This all-new expanded edition debuts three never-before released bonus tracks (with misfits drummer Eric 'chupacabra' arce rounding out the lineup), liner notes and more! LP format pressed on 180-gram limited edition vinyl with exclusive variant cover art by Tom Whalen (mondo), retro-style jacket + first pressing on fluorescent yellow colored vinyl while supplies last!
