International Reggae Star King Eddie, of the Pili Pili Band, has been wowing audiences around the world with his soulful and inspiring music for over 35 years. At home with several diverse styles of music from Gospel, to R&B, to Funk, Jazz, and Country, Eddie is currently climbing the charts with his hard-hitting Reggae smash hit "Murder". The multi-talented musician has opened for music superstars such as Miles Davis, Grover Washington, Spiro Giro, Third World, Supercat, Yellow Man, and Burning Spear to name a few. Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Edward William Whitt Jr III began singing at age three for friends and family. His deep love of music grew exponentially when he received his first guitar five years later. The gifted self-taught musician started on the bass guitar and honed his performing skills while playing for his High School band. He later went on to earn a college degree in music and performing arts. Eddie's illustrious voice has been featured in voice overs for Walt Disney, he has acted in movies with stars such as Rob Lowe, along with numerous television appearances and commercials. A legend in the local community, Eddie performs for a variety of charitable organizations to include the American Cancer Society, the March of Dimes, and the American Heart Foundation. King Eddie continues to belt out exciting and mesmerizing hits at numerous venues across North Florida, the Caribbean, Mexico, and Jamaica. In addition to his rigorous performance schedule, he actively writes and records music that is enjoyed by his multitude of fans around the world
