This collection of gems was recorded at the legendary Channel One Studios in Kingston, Jamaica, during the 70s and early 80s. The mixes primarily come from dub pioneer Osbourne Ruddock, AKA King Tubby. The two discs of this set collect over 90 minutes of mostly unreleased, timeless reggae music from renowned Jamaican artists which represent the immediately recognizable sound of Channel one.
