Digitally remastered and expanded two CD edition of the Scottish band's 1997 sophomore album. Disc One includes the extra tracks 'Shoka,' 'Violent Peep' and 1994's long out of print 'Hand Passes Plenty' in a re-ordered track list. Disc Two includes a live set, the Silver Echo & the Golden Echo - recorded at Reading Festival in 1996. Formed in Glasgow in 1990, AC Acoustics original sound took it's lead from the wave of mid-late '80s noise bands like JAMC and MBV. Their first release and a show opening for PJ Harvey brought the band to the music press' attention and won them a session with John Peel. It also brought a record deal with Elemental who released their debut mini album Able Treasury to ecstatic reviews in 1994, NME discovering a "mixture of the instantly recognizable and the frankly lunatic that makes AC Acoustics such a vital prospect".
