English version. 2020 release from Icelandic artist Ásgeir. Bury The Moon was prompted by a stay in a remote Icelandic summerhouse, just Ásgeir, his equipment, and a broken heart. Returning with a series of acoustic sketches, he set about turning these into sparse, atmospheric songs with the aid of some key lyrical collaborators - including his father, a noted Icelandic poet. This English language project involved some translation input from John Grant.
