Bobby's was the soaring, soulful voice on the Phil Spector-produced smash spin on Zip-A-Dee Doo-Dah by Bob B. Soxx and the Blue Jeans. That was in '62; in the early '70s, Bobby cut these tracks in Muscle Shoals-but, while some were leased to Warner Bros. And issued on Chelsea Records, the rest were shelved for 35 years!
