The Catalan soprano Anais Oliveras breaks out as a soloist in the record scene with this beautiful Stabat Mater by Boccherini, composed in Arenas de San Pedro in 1781. The voice of Oliveras, ideal for the Baroque repertoire, thus imprints this page of the most intimate and classicism spiritual, a transparent and firm profile, surrounded by a quintet of excellent string players. Spanish soprano Anais Oliveras studied first at Barcelona's Conservatory, and then at the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, Ohio. Upon returning to Spain she studied at Barcelona's University and then the Goethe Universitat Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Currently, Anaïs Oliveras is developing her own projectes with La Sonorsa / WorkinGOpera with whom she performs Spanish Barroc music from 17th and 18th and Vox Harmonica Vocal Ensamble specialized on vocal music. She combines her performing with the vocal pedagogy and choir conducting. She currently lives in Barcelona, Spain.
