Digitally remastered edition of the classic 1977 album by Colosseum II. The album was the final record release by the band. Originally formed in 1975 by virtuoso drummer Jon Hiseman, Colosseum II also featured legendary guitarist Gary Moore, keyboard player Don Airey and, in it's first incarnation, Mike Starrs (vocals) and Neil Murray (bass). Following the release of the album Strange New Flesh, Starrs and Murray departed and bass guitarist John Mole joined the fold, with Gary Moore undertaking vocal duties. This line-up recorded Electric Savage in early 1977, and this, their final album later that year. Never officially issued on CD in the UK, this Esoteric Recordings edition has been newly re-mastered from the original MCA Records master tapes and the booklet restores the original album artwork and features an essay by Malcolm Dome with an exclusive interview with Jon Hiseman.
