For his latest recording, the dynamic and fluid Florida-based guitarist explores a collection of all original music. With his former Seattle band mates as special guests - trumpeter Thomas Marriott and drummer Jose Martinez - Heck bobs and weaves through a rollicking set of modern mainstream jazz along with a nod toward the Blue Note soul/boogaloo recordings of the '60's on the opening cut, "One for Flo." a graduate of the Berklee School of Music, Heck spent 10 years in Seattle and New York before settling into South Florida's jazz scene several years ago.
