Early rockabilly vocalist and founding member of "The Rock and Roll Trio" Dorsey Burnette brings you an album named after his first solo hit "Tall Oak Tree". Originally offered to Ricky Nelson, who had already recorded several of The Rock and Roll Trio's songs, Dorsey went on to successfully record the song himself with it reaching No.23 in the top 100 in 1960. Following on from the "Tall Oak Tree's" momentum he then co-wrote his next chart topping single "Hey Little One" just a few months later.
