Antonín Dvorak's Cello Concerto is considered the finest of his concertos, and arguably the greatest of all such works for the cello. These Vox recordings from 1974 performed by Zara Nelsova in the Concerto, Silent Woods and the Rondo, and Ruggiero Ricci in the Romance and Mazurek, with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra conducted by Walter Susskind, are acclaimed classics.
