Composer, journalist and musicologist Burkhard Egdorf, born in 1954, presents his debut recording with this album. Violinist couple Alexia and Friedemann Eichhorn are joined by cellist Alexander Hülshoff for various duo and trio combinations, but also solo pieces are part of this entertaining recording. The album's genesis and that of the pieces is connected with the biographic congruences between the composer and the performers. It is therefore not only a documentation of the music, but also of the friendship between four artists.
