Gary Myrick has played amazing guitar for years. "She Talks In Stereo" was an MTV hit in 1980. Now Gary has resurrected a wide variety of songs and presents them with his acoustic 12 string bringing an amazing tone and complexity to these songs. His "Ode to Robert Johnson" starts the disc off (and is the featured video), nuances of Leadbelly and others carry on Gary's Texas roots in the blues. This all analog recording was done with one ribbon vintage microphone and brings his virtuoso power and raw vocals to the present day. Stan Lynch of the Petty Heartbreakers calls Gary a "bad ass" with an "incredible sound".
