Glenn Miller Was An American Jazz Musician, Arranger, Composer, And Bandleader in the Swing Era. He Was One of the Best-Selling Recording Artists from 1939 to 1943, Leading One of the Best Known 'Big Bands'. Miller's Signature Recordings Include in the Mood, American Patrol, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Tuxedo Junction, Moonlight Serenade, Little Brown Jug And Pennsylvania 6-5000. On December 15, 1944, Miller Was to Fly from the United Kingdom to Paris, France, to Play for the Soldiers Who Had Recently Liberated Paris. His Plane Departed from Raf Twinwood Farm in Clapham, Bedfordshire And Disappeared While Flying Over the English Channel. No Trace of the Aircrew, Passengers Or Plane Has Ever Been Found And Miller's Status Is Missing in Action. The Album Has Been Re-Mastered By Mike Hedges And He Has Taken Each Instrument And Vocal Off the Track And Cleaned It Up, to Make the Final Album Polished. Facts for You; It Took Over 400 Hours to Clean Up, the Recordings Stereo Image And Focus Them, They Where Taken from the Original Metal Discs That the Sessions Where Recorded On. Back Then They Didn't Have Any Form of Tape, the Sessions Where Cut Live to a Metal Disc. Some of the Metal Discs Were in Very Bad Condition Because Glenn Use to Go in And Play Them All the Time As It Was the Only Way to Listen to His Songs So in Away He Wore Some of Them Out! The Process Was Over Seen By Two of Today's Top Producers Mike Hedges (The Priests, U2, Dido, Texas, Etc) And Simon Franglen Who Has Worked with Everyone from Michael Jackson, Celine Dion, Co-Writing And Produced 'My Heart Will Go On'
