This new release from Cuarteto Aurora features music for string trio and piano by Mexican composers. Cuarteto Aurora was formed in 2004 under the passionate vision of Mrs. Inesse Salaks who in a driven but loving fashion shaped this female-only piano quartet. The group began by performing in multiple venues in Mexico, leaving a clear testament of their ability to take on scores from the classical, romantic, and contemporary periods, with a rich and splendid interpretation. In their concerts, they include works by Mexican composers written and aimed especially for this ensemble of talented artists. The quartet has played in the Ciclo de Musica de Camara of UNAM, in multiple festivals like the Festival Cultural de Zacatecas, and the International Forum of New Music "Manuel Enriquez," among others.
