Pepper runs the gamut from baroque bedroom pop to aggressive rockabilly and a lot of weird places in between. His forthcoming 7'' mini-album "Chorus! Chorus! Chorus!" is a study in super brisk, catchy power pop. With ten songs clocking in at 13 minutes, it's a an exercise in economy and energy: rapid fire hooks and harmony atop a mountain of fuzzy distortion. It's also very reverent tip of the hat to the bands we loved in the 1990's (weezer, superdrag, teenage fanclub) but fused with Pepper's trademark dumb/smart humour and cynicism.
