Harrison "Professor" Stafford (Groundation frontman and lyricist) brings together an all-star lineup of Jamaican musicians for "One Dance" including legendary drummer Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace and bassist Errol "Flabba Holt" Carter to record what will become a Reggae classic album. The project was recorded in Kingston, Jamaica at the famed Harry J Studio where many of Bob Marley's albums were recorded. Each song features a different groove and highlights these musicians versatility and mastery of their instrument. The lyrics are poignant and very moving with songs like "Jah Shine" addressing the problems with organized religions, "Hush" about the Professor's longing for his children as he tours around the world, and tracks like "Young Dread" and "One Dance" which address political corruption. Throughout the album is an underlining message of hope, and songs like "The Music", "California", and "Balance" remind us to keep dancing through life's trials and tribulations. It's time for everyone to get up and celebrate "One Dance."
