Danish sludge/experimental metal. The first achievement of the Danish band A Horrible Death to a Horrible Man EP 'Escape Escape', which opens March 23 at shaft Mighty Music. Opener "Drifting Through" the listener takes direction Rob Zombie and A Pale Horse Named Death, while the emphasis of the Danes bit more rock than metal is. In any case, makes the trailing number sure you keep on listening. "A Sudden Violent displeasure" is the single from the EP and during this number you can hear influences come from Alice in Chains and Nirvana. The band describes their style as noise rock with a dark and gloomy atmosphere. In "Resurrection Creek" this definition is fine converted into music. During "There is a tide" the vocals sound remarkably direction A Pale Horse Named Death while the music is a succession of repetitive riffs with a gloomy feeling. Closure of the 'Escape ESCAPE EP is "A City Radient Return Trip". Nearly six and a half minutes long captivates the hypnotic midtempo song through a drumbeat and two guitar riffs which properly fitting vocal lines are written. No ordinary release, but definitely a good start for A Horrible Death to A Horrible. "A Horrible Death to a Horrible Man (AHD2AHM) from Copenhagen (Denmark) have made an EP with five tracks: Escape Escape. The style is dark grunge. I think it sounds a bit like Black Sabbath meets Nirvana and Sort Sol (DK). There is good intensity and energy through all the numbers. The speed is for the most part slow and somber but there is also a little faster tracks without losing depth in the darkness created around the speakers when you hear AHD2AHM.
