The Times, is the new 7 inch single from Birmingham's Iris Doe. The B-side is a cover of the Dead Moon classic A Miss of You. The Times was born from a late night recording session in Los Angeles. Lyrically tipping the hat to Neil Youngs's Crazy Horse and Keith Richards, the song weaves a story of both exhaustion and hope, set to the sound of rolling piano's, overdriven acoustics and tuned down drums. A Miss of You was recorded while on tour in a hotel room the same evening that Dead Moon's Fred Cole passed away. Doe says "Out of respect for Dead Moon and the bands devout fans, I didn't want to release it without the approval of his wife and bandmate, Toody. I received an email from her saying how much she loved hearing Fred's words again and had her complete blessing."
