After discovering Wes Montgomery to complete his cycle of mentors, Golub hit the road with Rod Stewart and Billy Squier, further developing his rock chops, before taking the jazz path full-time with his group Avenue Blue and his own solo work. BLUES FOR YOU brings everything full circle. Produced by John Porter (Los Lonely Boys, Ryan Adams, Buddy Guy), the album brilliantly maintains Jeff's jazz identity, while traveling to territory that any fan of blues-rock will find a real pleasure to visit. Making the trip with Jeff are no less than four classic rock vocalists: Golubs former employer Billy Squier, Triple-A radio favorite Marc Cohn, fan favorite John Waite, and the legendary Peter Wolf.
