THE AMBASSADOR explores different narrative approaches for each song. The album was co-produced by Kahane and long-time collaborators Casey Foubert (Sufjan Stevens) Matt Johnson (St. Vincent) and Rob Moose (Bon Iver), and features guest vocalists Shara Worden and Aoife O'Donovan.
