The six songs on Save Me A Seat are more contemplative, while continuing to examine relationships - with loved ones far away, and the loved ones right next to us. A heart is torn, a song is born... one thing that hasn't changed is Kate's signature: a direct, intimate approach to singing and songwriting. The lyrics go deeper this time, and her rich voice complements the soaring guitar work of producer and guitarist James DePrato, known for his key role in Chuck Prophet's band, the Mission Express.
