Once again, renowned guitarist Ken Navarro puts on a consummate display of guitar mastery as he steers the instrument and his unique stylings through a diverse array of colors and emotions on this very impressive new release for 2021 "I Will Still Be Here". It is an eclectic mix that will surely find a home in your heart as it sensuously and boldly seduces your aural senses. Always one to experiment with where he can go and where he can take you on his musical journeys, his music guides you into a wonderful land of vision and sound. Witness for example his awesome "All At Once" featuring Chick Corea saxophonist Eric Marienthal. This is truly a splendid work of art and an experience in romance and fire. In contrast to that, he offers the hot and funky fusion gem "Run Your Race" and then shows his classical prowess with a piece for his nylon string guitar and string quintet entitled "Glass". There are many demonstrations of how Navarro can effortlessly create a captivating mood like the swaying and gorgeous "Embrace". Along with Marienthal, Navarro is joined by Gary Grainger of Acoustic Alchemy, Bassist John Patitucci, drummers Chad Wackerman, Bruce Guttridge and Jay Williams, keyboardist Jay Rowe and a host of others and the dance is simply breathtakingly sweet.
