"Yggdrasil Burns" is a melting pot of various metal genres, since Kurgan decided to find inspiration in all the metal music they personally love. Kurgan give you melodic / black / death / thrash metal, and what else you might find - all with a twist of old-school heavy and Viking metal. Beware, the magic from 80's metal is back with a new sound! Since the band has chosen to remove all boundaries between sub-genres, Kurgan had a hard time defining their own music, but in the end, they all agreed that the label melodic death metal covers the most of it. Fun fact: According to the band, approximately 16 000 beers have been emptied during the rehearsals and compositions of this album.
