Kurupt's Greatest presents a fairly even balance between his first three albums — 1998's Kuruption!, 1999's Tha Streetz Iz a Mutha, and 2001's Space Boogie — and it throws in a few other stray (and significant) cuts that have popped up in other places, such as "Freak It Out" (from the O soundtrack) and a handful of the more hedonistic moments from the Dillinger & Young Gotti album ("Treat Her Like a Lady," "Dipp wit Me," "Gitta Strippin'"). Since the albums from which this draws are all fairly spotty, it's a necessary release that should raise the awareness of one of the West Coast's undervalued MCs.
