Genre: Heavy Metal, Heavy Metal
Conjuring extreme, horrifying images of death, addiction, the road and urban violence glued to putrid rock'n'roll and manic-depressive blues-rock, La Muerte released a string of cult-albums and EP's throughout the 80s and early 90s, which heavily resonated with those abandoned by love or devoid of hope. Even the devil's rejects found refuge in La Muerte's growling, howling, stop/start frenzy, and feedback shivers of guitar burning through the dark cracks of life. March 2015, La Muerte did a highly praised come-back show at a sold out Ancienne Belgique in Brussels. Founding members Marc du Marais & Dee-J. were joined by so-called "New Blood" Michel Kirby (Arkangel, Wolvennest, Length of Time, Deviate...), Christian Z. (Length of Time) and Tino de Martino (Channel Zero). The next two years, the band followed their first show in two decades, with a series of in-door shows and festival-appearances in Belgium, such as Dour, Graspop, Lokerse feesten, BSF, Desertfest... Also, La Muerte were invited by several prestigious festivals abroad like Roadburn (NL), IMPETUS (CH) and Helldorado (NL), sharing stages with likes of At The Drive-In, Neurosis, Orange Goblin & Laibach. La Muerte curated their headlining night at Les Nuits du Botanique and appeared as special guests besides Iggy Pop's band, at the GUTTERDÄMMERUNG screening, in a sold out Ancienne Belgique. The first vinyl pressing will be a limited-edition gatefold coloured vinyl, including large poster. Enjoy. The psychedelic nightmare continues
