2015 release from the veteran Swedish post-punk/alt-rock band, their first album in 23 years. Formed in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1979 The Leather Nun rapidly became heroes of the international alternative rock scene, pioneering post-punk and grunge with their early records and unrivaled powerful live performances. Legendary BBC1 DJ John Peel favored the band as did the influential British music press. The close association with industrial music-pioneers Throbbing Gristle, added to the attention from young buddying bands/artist like Front 242 and Laibach to Dead Kennedys, Butthole Surfers, Sonic Youth, Kurt Cobain and Trent Reznor.
