EMI gold series greatest hits collection from the man referred to as the "Bob Dylan of Argentina". Gieco's music is acoustic folk-rooted with electric rock influences. He taught himself to play guitar at the age of eight. His first band, Los Nocheros, focused on traditional folk music and his second band, Los Moscos, were heavily influenced by British rock bands including the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and the Spencer Davis Group. Gieco began playing with Litto Nebbia, Tormenta and Gustavo Santaolalla in Buenos Aires. He later toured and recorded with Milton Nascimento and Mercedes Sosa.
