Louisiana swamp bluesman Lightnin' Slim was catapulted to international fame beginning in the mid 1950's when he became one of the top selling artists on the legendary Excello Records label. Rediscovered in the 1970's, Slim played a reunion concert with label mate Lazy Lester in Baton Rouge in 1971 and subsequently found himself a headliner at blues festivals across the US and Europe. Presented here is a collection of Slim's vintage sides including his 1954 debut "Bad Luck Blues," "That's All Right" and the classic "Things I Used to Do." All selections newly remastered.
