The amazingly prolific, legendary soul singer, songwriter, producer, arranger Jerry Williams Jr., better known as Swamp Dogg, started his recording career at the age of 12 as Little Jerry, and then as Little Jerry Williams. This 29 song compilation is the first comprehensive overview of the artist’s output between 1954 and 1969, shortly before Jerry Williams Jr. became the alter ego known as Swamp Dogg, the Godfather of swamp funk.
