Live archive release featuring Maggie Bell live on stage at London's iconic Rainbow backed by British rock luminaries Mo Foster, Pete Wingfield, Brian Breeze and Paul Francis. Having regularly topped the UK music press polls as Best Female Singer, Scots-born Maggie Bell laid the groundwork for a successful solo career fronting blues rock band Stone The Crows in the early 70s. Following the break-up of the band in 1973, Maggie recorded her critically acclaimed solo debut album Queen Of The Night, produced by the legendary Jerry Wexler. Experience Maggie Bell in full flight as she performs fan favorites from her Crows days alongside tracks from Queen Of The Night and follow-up album Suicide Sal, aided and abetted by Mo Foster (bass), Brian Breeze (guitar), Paul Francis (drums) and Pete Wingfield (keyboards/vocals), live on stage at London's Rainbow Theatre in October 1974. A memorable show delivered with gusto in front of an enthusiastic crowd. "The Rainbow was a great show. There was so much looming around on stage it felt almost like a Rod Stewart and the Faces gig. It's evident from listening to this album that the tour was a very happy one for all concerned. There were rave music press reviews of every concert and that certainly consolidated Maggie's position as Britain's No.1 Female vocalist.
