Konami Digital Entertainment and Laced Records have teamed up with Codec to release the music of the Metal Gear Solid series on vinyl. All tracks will be specially remastered and pressed on heavyweight LP with a printed inner sleeve housed in an outer sleeve. The album will also feature archival artwork selected from the series' iconic and expressive illustrations. The album will feature 18 tracks selected from the original Metal Gear series soundtracks and official arrangements created for the Metal Gear Music Collection, released in celebration of the 20th and 25th anniversaries. The tracklist includes original cues, songs, and medleys from 1990's Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake to 2015's Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Among them are fan favorites such as "Snake Eater," "The Best is Yet to Come," and "Sins of the Father."
