Parisian composer F.J. Naderman wrote some of the most beautiful harp music of the first half of the 19th Century. Based in the Netherlands, Lucia Wisse loves this music, and it shows in these committed, passionate performances. Lucia Wisse began studying harp with Margot Flipse-Broeders at the age of 6. After Margot's death, Lucia inherited her harp because she was her most promising pupil at the time. Lucia followed with lessons with Helga Terlouw-van Renesse, Edward Witsenburg, and in Brussels with Susanna Mildonian. She studied at the conservatory in Utrecht with Emily Boedijn. She followed master classes with big names and won prizes at various competitions. As a soloist she has performed with orchestras at home and abroad.
