A parallel project from the members of Norway's Remington Super 60, which started out as a handful of tracks produced for Radio Khartoum's imaginary soundtrack series, but grew into short album of what Beikoku Ongaku called [the] delightfulness of instrumentals and songs superbly mixed together. Soft songs and semi-instrumentals for lazy afternoons, snippets of music for imaginary (dating) game shows, drunken cowboys, and the pervasive problem of daydreams cut by neighborhood construction work. The group never completely unplug their synths, but the there is a greater emphasis here on acoustic instruments (including cello) and real drums. Ba-ba-bas are in full force here, along with plenty of bossapop and fragile, warbling keyboard calls. This is music for homework dodging. 12 tracks in a nifty digipack.
