Nightnight is the latest electro-alternative project from Yasmin Maryam Haddad. The classically educated violinist, guitarist, vocalist and sound engineer, who now resides in Brooklyn, New York, has her roots originally in the Las Vegas music scene. Haddad has often played on the Las Vegas Strip with local bands, earning her a quick reputation as a talented musician and producer. As a result, Haddad came to the attention of THE KILLER and was invited to play violin on their album "Sam's Town". After leaving Las Vegas, Haddad moved to Seattle, WA. Here she further dived into the local music and recording scene. She produced there at Clatter & Din Studios, among other venues. Nightnight was formed during her time in Seattle. Nightnight is influenced by Yasmin's idols Massive Attack, Garbage, Depeche Mode and Bat for Lashes. Her intimate love for analog synthesizers, which she skillfully combines with innovative modern sounds and live instruments to create her unique sound, can be felt in every song on "Love Decayed".
