A nephew of legendary soul man Sam Cooke, R&B singer "R.B." Greaves III had built a career both in the Caribbean and in Great Britain, where he performed under the name Sonny Childe with his group The TNTs. His debut single "Take a Letter Maria", released in 1969 under the name R.B. Greaves, rose to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and remained on the charts for 15 weeks, selling a million copies in the process. In 1977 he released the fine R&B solo album presented here which contained the charting single "Who's Watching The Baby (Margie)." The album remains a cult favorite with fans on both sides of the Atlantic. For the special expanded edition of the original album presented here, five bonus tracks have been added to further flesh out the scope of Greaves' action in the studio. The bonus tracks include "Please Mister Mailman" from 1980, an early stereo version of "Let's Try It Again;" 1975's "My Place Or Yours," the controversial 1974 track "I'm Married, You're Married," and a 7" vinyl mix of "The Gods Watch It All." All tracks have been newly remastered for this exclusive release.
