Four classic dramas from the pens of J M Barrie, W Somerset Maugham and A J Alan. These episodes of Theater Royal were first broadcast in 1952-3. This was the only radio series in which Laurence Olivier took part and these vintage adaptations find new life with each new generation of fans. In this set, Sir Ralph Richardson leads in three episodes, with Sir John Mills in the fourth, and a top (partly anonymous) supporting cast selected by the BBC.
