Originally a member of the seminal 1950's rock n' roll band the Fireflies, Brooklyn native Ritchie Adams led a very successful solo career and became a hit songwriter, penning such #1 classics as "Tossin' and Turnin'" and "After the Loving," just two of more than 350 songs he is credited with. He also wrote songs for the Banana Splits and the Archies.
